Presence

I recently had a realization of how to enter and maintain a blissful awareness. When I first experienced bliss for the first time more than half a year ago, I tried to hold onto it and make it increase. I wanted more of it. But whenever I thought about it increasing, it would either stop where it is or creep slowly away. However, I now know that this is anticipation, which is also separation, so it must be an illusion. It will only amplify if you are stay with full awareness in the present moment.

It's so simple! Any effort to control it or keep it or initiate it will do nothing. It is so simple that we overlook it, which is why we continually suffer. All you have to do is be, without thinking about anything (because any that really had no absolute importance). All of your worries cover up who we are, which is this perfect awareness as bliss itself. We do not need to fight and attain anything- who we are is guaranteed to be everything we would ever want or need. The mind's attempt to create something wonderful and beautiful will never surpass the brilliance of our self.

If I try to think back on a blissful experience, I can't remember what it feels like. Imagination flat out sucks. Imagination is also of separation, because it tries to remember the past or make something new from it as a future idea. Whenever you're imagining something, you're never in the present moment.

Whatever is not present is a lie. If you sense something in the present and you think about it, it is a lie. Only the presence that cannot be thought about is true. It is just empty fullness. And within that presence, nothing can be unpleasant because none of it is a lie. All pain and distractions fall away in this presence, unless they are thought about.

So "how" you become present is this. Feel what is here now, but don't think about it. Just experience whatever is happening in this moment. As long as you stay here, bliss will intensify and amplify. But don't jump ahead of it by thinking about where it could lead! Just stay here and accept this moment with presence and awareness.

Religion is Unnecessary

I've realized that truth cannot be found in the mind. Truth cannot change, and since the mind constantly changes, it cannot be found there. Considering that, truth simply exists everywhere at every time- you don't have to attain anything to find truth.

The purpose of religion runs contradictory to this. Religion consists of attaining knowledge, information, and adopting a belief system. This is unnecessary- you don't need to do that to live the truth.

Don't you wonder what would happen to someone who had no contact with people and their cultures and belief systems? How would they find the truth. If they were born into isolation, are they doomed? Is it impossible for them to live a truthful life? Truth cannot be absent or unavailable for anyone anywhere. It is actually so simple that people completely miss it.

Religion is actually deception. It is a mind construct made of separation, so you can in no way find the oneness of life. People fall into the trap of unconsciousness, and decide to do what their mind tells them to. "If everyone believes in Jesus, why don't you?" So now all the people who don't believe in Christ or God or Christianity are considered to be wrong people. They are wrong because they don't believe that there is a Son of God who governs over and controls dirty sinners like us. Those who don't believe in inequality and hierarchies are apparently damned to hell.

But all of these believe are completely random! If you were stuck in silent darkness with no outside contact at all, how could you come to the realization of the truth as that Jesus or Krishna is the Savior, and that you must repent? That cannot be it. Thoughts are random and destructive. Belief systems based on shared thoughts don't make them true. Hey, they might look like it, but there is some loss involved in that separation. Is it possible that the truth is as simple as you exist as everything as one? Is it possible that this could only be realized outside the divided mind, outside belief and religion?

Don't let your mind make you who you are.

Life is Simple

Life is so simple that we completely miss the point. In our lives, we try to come up with a concept in order to discover the meaning of life. Once we have thought it through, we find the answer, but later our perception changes and we come up with a new definition. Yet, in order to understand life, we actually need to drop every concept we have come up with during our lives.

This is why it seems so hard. We find it necessary to structure our perceptions and create concepts in order to justify our way of living. It needs to be a specific, perhaps complicated system, like all of our present day religions. We refuse to let go of the mind, even though the simple truth will only come when the mind is silenced. Life is one and everything, so any separation involved in the understanding of life will be a false representation.

We go searching everywhere for something with meaning, something that lasts. But out in the world, we can never find satisfaction. But we go for it again and again, since we are unaware of any other options. So we hurt ourselves each time, living in separation, subject and object, and we can't accept the fact that only complete oneness and equality is eternally perfect.

Why is that so? Oneness and equality cannot bring about thought, as the mind consists of changing separation. We aren't patient enough to live oneness and equality because we have our habits and attachments that we refuse to give up. Salvation seems to not exist outside of that- it's the only thing we know and trust.

The truth of life cannot be complicated! We live unhappy, complicated lives, so it must be something very fundamental and simple that we are missing. We have to be empty in order to realize our inherent fullness, and Being is only found in not being. There are no opposites (including that of opposites vs. non-opposites), there are no hierarchies, and there is no separation in the truth of life. Life IS, so we must be HERE and let go of our patterns, traits, differences, attachments, our habits... even our minds.

Biblical Realities

I am now going to take statements from the Bible and other gnostic/apocryphal books and bring them all together on this post, which might occasionally be added to. This is a clarification of my last posts, as these statements will only be of forgiveness, oneness, equality, and self-honesty. They might point out separation, but I will list them here if the message is one of unity. Remember that God's perspective is your perspective. I will write comments in parentheses as clarification. Enjoy.

The Bible
  • Genesis 2:17 “Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.” (Good and evil is duality and separation.)
  • Exodus 3:14 “I AM THAT I AM."
  • Deuteronomy 8:3 “Man does not live on bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.” (This Word comes from your own mouth as self-expression of oneness and equality.)
  • Psalm 46:1 “God is our protection and strength, an omnipresent help in trouble.” (You are your own protection and strength as all as one and equal.)
  • Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I AM God.” (Still the mind, and you will know that you are God.)
  • Proverb 8:35-36 “Whoever finds me finds Life, and receives kindness from the Lord. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.” (Solomon is speaking of wisdom as yourself. You are Life, but if you are self-dishonest, you will live in separation.)
  • Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world.”
  • Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge so that you will not be judged.” (You are judging yourself.)
  • Matthew 7:12 “Do to others what you would have them do to you, for this is the Law.” (The Law is that you are always doing this to yourself.)
  • Matthew 7:27 "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
  • Luke 17:21 “The kingdom of God is within you.” (God is within you as you.)
  • John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (The Word is your Living Word, which is your self-expression of oneness and equality.)
  • John 8:31-32 “If you practice my teaching, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (The teaching of all as one and equal will result in self-realization.)
  • John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.” (You are one and the same as the Father.)
  • Ephesians 2:14 “Christ is our peace, who made the two into one and brought down the wall of separation between us.” (Jesus seemingly ended the separation, but it was actually the realization that there is no separation in reality.)
  • Revelation 22:13 " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (You are the Alpha and Omega unified as Life.)

Gospel of Thomas
  • God’s Divine Rule is within you and you are everywhere. When you know yourself, you will be known, and you will understand that we are one.
  • It is what comes out of your mouth that will reveal you. (Are you expressing words from thoughts or is it the Living Word from self-honesty?)
  • When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so the male will not be male and the female will not be female… then you will enter the Kingdom. (That is self-realization.)
  • I stood in the world and found them all drunk, and I did not find any of them thirsty. They came into the world empty, and they seek to leave the world empty. But meanwhile they are drunk. When they shake off their wine, they will open their eyes. (The wine is self-dishonesty.)
  • If a blind person leads a blind person, both of them will fall into a hole. (Not only that, but you are blind if you become a follower. Do not be led by others, but by yourself.)
  • The new world you are looking forward to has come, but you don’t know it. (The new world is found in self-honesty.)
  • Congratulations to the person who has forgiven and has found life. (You are not your mind, but Life.)
  • I am the one who comes from what is whole... therefore, I say that if one is whole, one will be filled with light, but if one is divided, one will be filled with darkness.
  • Those who know all, but are lacking in themselves, are completely lacking. (Self-honesty is all, and information is not you.)
  • Whoever is living with the living One will not see death. (Not with the living One, but as the living One.)

No God but Self

What? No God? What do I mean? No, I'm not atheist. But I'm not theist, either. I've realized that I've had spiritual experiences in the past, but they don't come from God. The whole idea that I have programmed in my mind is one of fear and separation. So if I am in the present moment, thinking of a God decreases my ability to be aware. I can't do it. I think, "what will happen next?" or "what is God going to do?" It is still separation, when presence is unity. Therefore, I am still in my mind.

I have noticed that the teachings of A Course in Miracles are genuine, and they teach about separation. Yet, it contradicts itself with the idea of the Trinity. For example, "God is my refuge and security." There is still a subject and object. And the whole thing about listening for the Voice of the Holy Spirit is separation. It is still partly deception. What needs to be done in every religious or spiritual group is that we need to point out the separation. ACIM did pretty well, and I'm not saying anyone should abandon its teachings completely. The same with the Bible or any other holy book. Just search for oneness and equality.

"But if there is no God, where did everything come from?" Well, since the idea of God is of separation and fear, and since we also know there's no proof of him existing outside the mind, God couldn't have created this world. Well, then who did? Obviously, Satan did! Just kidding. Actually, oneness did. You know for sure that you exist, and if we can't find a creator, why don't we find the creation? Creation as all as one as equal? Now, we have to stop the mind, as that works through separation. And finding separation is also working from the mind. So find unity.

Be yourself, but not your body or your mind. "I am all and everything that exists as one and equal." Then you will realize that you are the creator, as everyone and everything is as well, since you are one and equal with all.

By the way, welcome to my new blog!
